The Story Behind "Ruth 66"
During a band rehearsal sometime ago, Pierre Larose (sax/arranger) said "The next tune we’re rehearsing is "Route 66". Right after that he said "Ruth 66" and one of us then said ..."What a great name for the band!"
Well, It just so happens that our singer's name is Ruth Damas, so the name really made perfect sense! ... So that's the whole story!
